MCC Counselling Process 2024:

The MCC NEET UG counselling 2024 will be conducted online at @mcc.nic.in. For All India Quota (AIQ) seats, the process generally includes four rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and the Stray Vacancy Round. The number of rounds may vary depending on seat availability. Last year, MCC added two extra rounds for admissions into BDS and BSc Nursing courses. The seat allotment process covers government and private medical colleges, deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS institutes, AIIMS, and JIPMER. The MCC NEET counselling process for 2024 involves the following steps:

  • Publication of NEET 2024 Seat Matrix: The MCC will release the seat matrix for MBBS and BDS programs at participating universities, detailing the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats available.
  • Registration for NEET Counselling 2024: All rounds of NEET Counselling in 2024 need candidates to register online, with the exception of the Stray Vacancy phase. They will need to register and enter their NEET 2024 Roll Number, rank, scores, and other required data. It also requires a refundable security deposit and a non-refundable registration charge.
  • Choosing Your Preferences for NEET Counselling 2024:  Candidates should select their preferred colleges online. It is recommended to prepare a tentative list of preferred colleges before entering their choices online.
  • Locking Your Choices for NEET Counselling 2024: Candidates must lock their choices to finalize their selection and print the submitted choices. Once locked, choices cannot be changed. MCC recommends that candidates avoid waiting until the last minute to lock in their choices.
  • Seat Allotment Verification and Processing: Universities and colleges will complete the seat allocation results and forward them to MCC after confirming the candidates’ choices and registration information.
  • NEET 2024 Seat Allotment Results:  MCC publishes a provisional seat allotment result, giving candidates the opportunity to raise objections. Following this, the final result is released. Candidates can then choose to accept the seat, report to the institute, or opt for an upgrade in later rounds.
  • Document Upload for NEET Counselling 2024: After the seat allotment, candidates must upload the required documents to the MCC NEET 2024 counselling website.
  • College Reporting:  Candidates must report to their allotted institute with hard copies of required documents and pay the admission fees.

Note: In the Stray Vacancy round, seat allotment results are announced directly, with no need for registration or NEET choice-filling. Candidates should be aware that registration and choice-filling are not required for this round.
