Karnataka NEET Counselling Schedule 2024

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) in Bangalore manages the Karnataka NEET counselling for 2024 through cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. This process covers 85% of state quota seats and 100% of private college seats, based on NEET 2024 scores. New registrations for Karnataka NEET UG are open from August 7 to 9, 2024. Candidates need to register to participate in the NEET counselling.

Students who passed the NEET test must complete the Karnataka MBBS 2024 application form and meet the eligibility requirements in order to take part in the NEET counselling. The names of qualified applicants are included in the Karnataka NEET merit list 2024, which will be released by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). The candidates need to register, select their courses, and indicate which colleges they would like to attend. Karnataka MBBS 2024 seat distribution will be determined by NEET results, state merit rank, selections made, reservations, and available seats.

Through the NEET counselling process, 10,995 MBBS seats and 3,445 BDS seats will be offered in various medical and dental colleges across Karnataka. Candidates aiming for admission to the top medical and BDS colleges in Karnataka need to understand the counselling process.

KEA NEET Couselling Process:

Step 1: Login to the Portal

Step 2: Choose Your Course

  • After logging in, select either medical (MBBS) or dental (BDS). A list of colleges offering the selected course will be shown.

Step 3: Fill in Your Choices

    • Enter your priority number next to your chosen colleges.
    • You can pick as many colleges as you want.
    • Note that your choices before the first round of counselling are final and will be used for all future rounds. If you don’t fill in your choices, you won’t be considered for admission.

KEA Document Verification

After submitting the application, candidates need to verify their documents. Here’s how:

  1. Log in with your application ID and password.
  2. Upload the required documents in PDF format.
  3. Check your documents and make any necessary changes.
  4. You’ll receive an OTP on your registered mobile and email. Enter it to finalize the submission.
  5. After submission, an acknowledgment slip will be generated. Save it and print multiple copies for future reference.

The verification acknowledgment slip is crucial for Karnataka MBBS admission. It includes your details, a list of verified documents, category information, merit rank, and security key.

Karnataka Seat Allotment Process

Seat allotment will be based on your choices, reservation criteria, seat availability, and NEET 2024 scores. The list will show your details, NEET score, and the allotted college and course. After seats are allotted, you must choose one of the following options:

  • Choice 1: Accept the seat and skip further rounds of counselling.
  • Choice 2: Accept the seat but want to join the next round of counselling.
  • Choice 3: Reject the seat but want to participate in the next round.
  • Choice 4: Reject the seat and do not want to participate further.

Fee Payment and Admission Order

  • Choice 1: Pay the tuition fee through e-challan, NEFT, IMPS, RTGS, credit/debit card, or net banking. After payment, submit original documents and download the admission order from the official website.
  • Choice 2: Pay the fee but you won’t receive an admission order.
  • Choice 3: No fee payment or document submission is required. You can join the next counselling round.

Candidates who choose Choice 4 will not be considered for further rounds

Reporting to Allotted College for Karnataka NEET Admission

Students who get an MBBS/BDS seat and choose **Option 1** must report to the allotted college within the specified time. They need to pay the tuition fee, download the admission order from the KEA website, and bring both the admission order and important documents to the college.
