The NEET cut off 2023 refer to the minimum marks that a candidate needs to score in order to qualify for the exam. NEET Cut-off 2023 has another category in which the score is given by the college for admission purposes. This NEET cut-off score determines the eligibility of a candidate to apply and complete the admission process in a particular college. Eg: The NEET cut-off 2023 score declared by the NTA will be the last rank acquired by the candidate which may cause a problem during the admission process while choosing a college whereas a higher score indicates a lower rank which is considered a good score. In such cases, the candidate will have a choice of multiple colleges during the counseling procedure.
Admissions

The NEET counseling process is a time-bound affair, and being aware of the important dates and timelines is crucial for a successful application. The process of counseling is conducted by various authorities nation and state wide namely:-
- Medical Counseling Committee(MCC)
- All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS)
- Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
- Karnataka Examinations Authority(KEA)
- Directorate of medical education and research(DMER)

Medical Colleges
These are medical institutions that offer courses related to health science and medicine. Their admission eligibility is based on the score/rank of the NEET exam. There are 677 medical colleges all over India offering a total of 1,04,388 MBBS seats.
Apart from undergraduate, they also offer postgraduate courses and doctoral degrees. They play a crucial role in educating and training future healthcare professionals, conducting medical research and contributing to the advancement of medical science and healthcare.
