Karnataka NEET PG counselling is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). It is used to fill 100% of the seats in private colleges and 50% of the state quota seats. There will be three rounds of KEA Karnataka PG medical counselling, with an additional mop-up round if any seats are left vacant. Karnataka NEET PG counselling 2024 - Eligibility criteria

Applicants for Karnataka NEET PG Counselling 2024 must meet the following criteria:

  1. Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen.
  2. NEET Score: Must achieve the minimum required score in NEET-PG 2024 or NEET MDS 2024.
  3. Education: Must have completed an MBBS/BDS from a recognized institute by MCI/DCI.
  4. Internship: Must finish the ‘Compulsory Rotating Internship’ by:
    • 30-06-2024 for MDS
    • 15-08-2024 for MD/MS
  5. Age Limit for In-Service Candidates: Maximum age of 48 years as of 31st March 2024.
  6. SC/ST/OBC Criteria: Eligibility for SC/ST/OBC/Linguistic minorities follows the State Government policy. OBC candidates from Karnataka who didn’t claim OBC in NEET-PG 2024 can claim it in KEA.
  7. Previous PG Degree: Candidates with a PG Degree in any clinical specialty are not eligible for another PG Degree or Diploma Course.
  8. Foreign Nationals: Must have qualifications registered with the appropriate authority in their home country and obtain a temporary registration certificate from MCI/DCI for the duration of the PG course.

  3. Store Credentials: Safeguard your testing ID and PGET number.
  4. Provide Information: Complete the fields with your personal, educational, NEET PG/NEET MDS, contact, and service details.
  5. Upload Documents: Provide scanned copies of your passport-sized photo, signature, and left-hand thumb impression.
  6. Pay Fee: Ensure the application fee is paid.
  7. Submit: Click on ‘Submit’ to complete your application.

  3. NEET PG Hall Ticket: Admit card for NEET PG or NEET MDS.
  4. Class 12 Marksheet: Marksheet from Class 12.
  5. MBBS/BDS Marks Cards: Marks cards from all years/levels of your MBBS/BDS program.
  6. Class 10 Marksheet: Marksheet from your Class 10 examinations.
  7. Qualifying Degree Marksheet: Marksheet for your qualifying degree.
  8. Internship Completion Certificate: Certificate confirming the completion of your internship.
  9. A certificate of registration from either the Dental Council of India (DCI) or the Medical Council of India (MCI) is available.
  10. Passport-sized photo: a current passport-sized photo.
